One of our customers came in yesterday to share with us this beautiful hand beaded purse. Almost all the beads were purchased at the shop. I love her creative mind. Thinking outside the box. The palm trees are my favorite. What an inspiration!

Here you go!!! The entries are in and the voting has begun. Be sure to come in and cast your vote for  your favorite design. These ladies did such a great job. It is going to be hard to pick the top 3. If  you did not enter this time there will be another one in the fall. First prize wins a $200 shopping spree, Second price wins $100, and Third prize wins $50

BEADERS CHALLENGE – TRANQUIL WATERS

 

This is going to be fun! It is a way to challenge yourself with a pre-selected set of components. We are excited to see what you come up with from this kit inspired by the sea. To participate you must purchase a Design Kit ($24) from The LH Bead Gallery which is filled with Czech, beach glass, metal starfish, metal beads, chain, seed beads, and a beautifully etched focal piece.

 

PRIZES:

Bead Gallery Gift Certificates:

1st  place – $ 200

2nd place – $ 100

3rd place $ 50

WHEN:

Entries accepted through June 26, 2012. All entries will be displayed anonymously at The LH Bead Gallery and online at www.lhbeads.com, as well as on our Facebook page. Votes will be collected (only in the store) until July 21, 2012 and the winner will be announced Tuesday, July 24, 2012.

RULES:

All work must be original design.

Each entry must include the etched focal piece and some of the chain. All varieties of beads included in the design kit MUST be used. The quantity of beads used can fit your design.

You may only add your own clasp, stringing material, or artistic wire. That is it. No additional beads are allowed in this challenge, just what is in the kit.

One entry per person

Out of town entries must pay a (to & from) shipping of $10 to send the kit to you and return your piece after the contest ends.

All contest entries must be picked up within a month after the contest ends or the item will be donated.
