FREE Charm Day Event
Join us for the 2nd Annual National FREE Charm Day Event, Saturday, October 5th.
Participating independently-owned brick & mortar bead shops across the nation will be offering a CHARM absolutely FREE to anyone who comes into their shops! We believe everyone can benefit from creative self expression through making jewelry and there’s no better place to start than with a simple project centered around a FREE CHARM at your Local Bead Shop!
Every year, on the first Saturday in October, our industry plans to come together for this event to give away FREE CHARMS and to encourage both curious first-time jewelry-makers and seasoned jewelry artists to flock to the best place in the world: the Local Bead Shop. Each one is unique in its community, with a style and personality all its own, and each one carries a wide array of beautiful beads, jewelry making supplies, and innovative tools. Local Bead Shops are the hubs of our creative community, where beaders can come together to discover products, learn new techniques, and even make lifelong friends.
On FREE CHARM DAY, in addition to passing out FREE CHARMS, many shops will also host community events such as make & takes, mini classes, discounts, raffles and prizes, photo booths, and other fun creative activities throughout the day. Every bead shop will celebrate FREE CHARM DAY in their own unique way, giving attendees a great opportunity to learn about and engage with their Local Bead Shops and community of DIY jewelry enthusiasts.
At The Bead Gallery, along with your FREE charm you’ll have the opportunity to make your very own FREE memory wire bracelet, at this one day event. You will have a variety of bead color choices and choose from the three charms pictured. Classroom space is limited to 8 students at a time from 10:30-4p.m.
