Sand & Sea Necklace – Beader’s Challenge
Welcome to our Sand & Sea Necklace Beader’s Challenge!
The kit includes these preselected items: Limpet Shell Focal, Cultured Beach Glass, 3mm, 5x7mm and 6x8mm Czech Glass, 5mm Black Pen Shell, MOP Chips, 6mm Ivory Howlite Disks, Howlite Sea Turtles, 9-11mm Ghana Recycled Bottle Glass, African Brass Beads, Hematite Scallop Shells, 2×2 Gold-filled Crimps, Gold Plated Wire Guards, 3” Gold Plated Headpin, 49 Strand Wire and 1.5mm Nat. Dk. Brown Leather.
Here are the rules:
- All work must be an original design.
- Only 1 jewelry design item (necklace) may be made from this kit.
- Each variety of components included MUST be used; however, the quantity of each component used can be adjusted to fit your design. (Example: if the kit includes 8 Ghana Recycled Bottle Glass beads, you may choose to use only three.) You must use at least one of each of the different beads and components.
- Note: You may use your own glue if needed. No additional beads or materials are permitted in this Challenge.
- One entry per person.
- A photo of your completed challenge must be submitted to [email protected] by midnight on Sunday, June 11, 2023. This contest will be conducted on the LH Bead Gallery Facebook page. (Do not send your completed challenge to the Gallery). PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PHOTO IS OF GOOD QUALITY WITH A SOLID BACKGROUND ONLY THE NECKLACE.
- Invite your friends and family to “like” your photo by visiting the LH Bead Gallery Facebook page. This is how your votes will be counted. All entries will be listed by name.

*Voting will run from June 15th through June 24th. Winners will be announced on Sunday, June 25th. *All entries will be shared online at www.lhbeads.com, as well as on our Facebook and Instagram.
